{Two-day intensive designed to help men heal from past trauma}

LAS VEGAS – Registered Therapist Kimberly Malloy, MS, LMFT, plans to steer her eighth two-day intensive workshop, “Rising Strong” – based on the book and research by acclaimed author and speaker Dr Brené Brown – towards a male audience.

Registration is available for a maximum of seven men for the workshop from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on October 29 and 30, 2021, at the Center for Relational Health LV, 8879 W. Flamingo Road, Suite 101. “Rising Strong” is designed to help participants learn to heal past trauma and struggles and rewrite negative narratives to improve self-confidence.

According to Malloy, participants can expect to be called upon to examine and speak with courage and courage about their “face-down moments”, pulling them apart and reconstructing the narrative that played out in their heads and preventing them from having their best. life.

“We’re in a place where everyone experiences trauma in one form or another,” said Malloy, founder and inspiration director of the Center for Relational Health LV. “It can be related to relationships, job performance or the change of seasons. Shame and trauma often go hand in hand.

She said that since shame and trauma aren’t often talked about, they grow when kept in the dark. The workshop will help men explore their need for vulnerability, understand empathy and question their thinking.

“Often times, shame can keep people from coming back into the arena and trying again,” Malloy said. “I want to help men eradicate their history of shame and heal their trauma so that they go away.”

Malloy is a certified Daring way facilitator. The Daring Way is a training and certification program to help professionals based on Dr. Brown’s research.
