Capital One Arena releases spicy fried chicken sandwich that comes on a cinnamon bun for Game 3
Capital One Arena will host Game 3 of the Capitals-Panthers first-round series on Saturday at 1 p.m. For Capitals fans planning to go, we recommend bringing both your appetite and your wallet.
That’s because Aramark is launching several new in-game foods that might make your primary medic cringe.
For the fried chicken fan who has always wondered how can this be more food comic, a concession stand at Section 408 will sell a spicy fried chicken sandwich with a cinnamon roll. The delicious sugar and carb desert is available for $16.59 and is drizzled with frosting.

Wow. My heart! (And I say this in more ways than one.)
Other items making their in-game debut by Aramark include two sophisticated milkshakes, the Campfire Bourbon Milkshake and the Boozy Mint Milkshake, which combine ice cream and liquor. They can be purchased outside Section 105. The Campfire Bourbon Milkshake features chocolate ice cream mixed with Jim Beam. Marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers are infused inside. The Boozy Mint Milkshake swirls mint chocolate chip ice cream with New Amsterdam vodka and is loaded with an ice cream sandwich, mint chocolate cookie and whipped cream.
Section 120 will feature the Chiko Tornado potato, a spiral fried potato served with garlic mayonnaise and toasted sesame. Section 408 will feature the Crab Roll, which is delicious Maryland crab tossed in an Old Bay dressing. It comes on a brioche bun and served with fresh coleslaw.
For the fan who prefers not to move much, Aramark is unveiling a roaming robot developed by Silicon Valley startup Tortoise. Fans can purchase classic Ted’s Tarts, which are made by Ted’s Bulletin, not Capitals majority owner Ted Leonsis. Fans can purchase through their phone or credit card and the robot can approve the purchase.
