When the late Stevie Ray Vaughan sang “The House is Rockin'” in 1989, he didn’t say how big that house was. And the big house in the metropolitan area – no, not THAT big house – will indeed rock this weekend.

Little Caesars Arena is hosting an unusual and eclectic triple-header of concerts over the weekend, at least if you extend the weekend by an extra day (which we’ll do here). It begins at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, when the Killers play their first-ever arena date in Detroit. Bruce Springsteen is unlikely to be around to take the stage during the encores like he did last weekend in New York, but you can expect opener Johnny Marr to join them for something special. his former band, The Smiths.

UK metal mainstay Iron Maiden will follow with their Legacy of the Beats World Tour stop at 7.30pm on Sunday October 9th. Within Temptation opens with a few appearances from Eddie, Maiden’s mummified mascot.

And finally, you can top your Monday blues with Michael Buble, whose Higher Tour hits LCA at 8 p.m. on October 10.

The arena is located at 2645 Woodward Ave., Detroit. 313-471-7000 or
