LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, Ohio – The music of Cabaret Madison will return on Saturday, February 19, with an evening of music by Neil Diamond at the band’s new event center.

The 8 p.m. show will feature pianist Rodd Coonce, with Diane Yazvac (keyboards) and Bob Bacha (percussion), and singers Patsy Sullivan, Colleen Chance, Chris Cerenelli and James Cerenelli.
Admission is $20. Call 330 720 4597 for reservations.

A potluck dinner will precede the show at 7 p.m. Guests may bring a dish for all to enjoy, but it is not mandatory. Customers can bring their own bottle; stemware and bottled water will be provided.

The show will take place at the Full Circle Event Center, 319 Goldie Road. In addition to cabarets, the hall – a former church – is used as a rental space for weddings, parties, showers and other events.

“I’m also setting up equipment to show classic movies as well as bringing ‘Vincent’ back,” said Coonce, who is the owner.

“Vincent” is a solo piece, written by Leonard Nimoy, about Vincent Van Gogh. Music at Madison has performed the show several times in the past at its former location at Dorian Books, 802 Elm St., on the north side of Youngstown.

Coonce and Jack Peterson founded the Music at Madison cabaret two decades ago. It has since garnered a following, with members of the public singing at the monthly shows.

As always, the venue for Saturday’s show will be decorated with linen-covered tables with candles, fresh flowers and mood lighting.
