The Ontario government will announce the arena’s capabilities for not-quite-last-minute preseason games, according to a report by Chris Johnston of the Toronto Star.
He reports that the Leafs will be entitled to 50% of their capacity, or about 9,500 fans. This policy will be valid for the Senators and Raptors for the preseason. This is expected to increase. This information was first reported by TSN:
I understand the Ontario government will be announcing shortly that the Leafs, Raptors and Senators will benefit from 50% arena capacity for preseason games. Will probably go up from there if things go well.
