Arboretum Holidays

WHAT: Stroll through the garden to see the ornately decorated 25-foot-tall Victorian gazebos that represent each of the 12 days of Christmas. In the evening, the garden comes alive for a beautiful night experience illuminated by more than a million lights. Enjoy a Christmas Village, tours with Santa, entertainment, shopping, food and drink options and the dazzling NEW 50ft tall musical tree with 42,000 holiday lights and tunes.

Holiday Gingerbread House Workshop

Trains to NorthPark

WHAT: Come and marvel at the dazzling displays of model trains and railroad cars on display at the NorthPark Center! For the past 34 years, NorthPark trains to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas (RMHD) have delighted generations of Dallas families as one of the area’s premier vacation traditions. Since 1987, trains have raised over $ 13 million for RMHD and have served over 40,000 families.

Disney on Ice presents Let’s Celebrate

WHAT: This monumental ice skating show features 14 classic and modern stories in an epic production featuring an international team of award-winning figure skaters, energetic choreography and breathtaking scenery. Enjoy over 30 melodious masterpieces such as “Let It Go! “,” You’ve Got A Friend in Me “and” Hakuna Matata “. This is a 100% capacity show. Christmas craft fair in the vineyard

WHAT: Bring the family for holiday fun with holiday-themed vendors, Christmas music, thousands of unique crafts to make the perfect holiday gift, delicious holiday treats, free designs, prizes and a visit from Santa Claus.

RHHS Holiday Homes Tour

WHAT: A tradition of community vacations continues as Rockwall-Heath High School’s top class of 2022 presents the annual Heath Vacation Homes Tour. Beautiful homes will be soaked in holiday decor and opened for touring. New this year will be a candlelight tour! The homes will also feature live entertainment and raffles for prizes. Ticket sales locations are Rockwall-Heath High School (reception), Heath Salon and Spa, Bella’s House & Bunches. Or, contact Kitty Allan, 214-405-0195, for tickets or additional information. All proceeds from the tour go to the Senior Class of 2022 following the prom night at Shenanigans in Rockwall.

Rockwall Kiwanis Christmas Parade, Hometown Christmas and Tree Lighting

WHAT: The Kiwanis Club of Rockwall County will proudly present the 2021 Christmas Parade: “Christmas Past and Present” in the morning, followed by many Christmas-themed family activities in the downtown plaza. The day will end with the annual tree lighting with Christmas music by the Steve Story Band, a Christmas cookie area provided by the Rockwall Women’s League, photos with Santa Claus (bring your own camera ), a free hot chocolate bar and coffee, and a bounce house area.

WHEN: Saturday December 4 | Parade from 9 am to 10 am | Hometown Christmas 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. | Tree lighting from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Christmas illuminated boat parade

WHAT: Watch a magnificent parade of illuminated boats on Lake Ray Hubbard! All boaters are invited to decorate your boat and join in the parade.

WHEN: Saturday December 11 | Viewing available from Rockwall Harbor docks at 7 p.m. and Chandlers around 7:30 p.m. Boats will leave the south entrance to Chandlers Landing Marina on the water at 6:45 p.m. promptly, descend the coast to the harbor, then return to Chandlers.
